Pre-Service Preparation

During Service

• Start by removing any items that are obviously trash or no longer needed, placing them in garbage bags.
• Sort remaining items into categories: keep, donate, recycle, or discard.
• Clean the space as items are removed, addressing any mold, dust, or dirt to ensure a fresh start.

Post-Service Verification

• Ensure all items have been sorted appropriately and that trash has been disposed of properly.
• Check for any repairs needed in the basement (e.g., leaks, cracks, or structural issues) that may have been uncovered during the cleanout.
• Confirm that the basement is organized and free of debris, ensuring a safe and usable space.
